Our package arrived in Guatemala this past Thursday with a family from our agency who went to pick up their daughter. I think Olivia will receive it next Thursday when the adoption worker goes to take new pictures and check on her progress. In this package I included two soft photo albums, two disposable cameras, a small tape recorder with a recording of Bill and I each reading a story to Olivia, a few outfits, a plush musical toy from my sister, a book from my mother, and a teething ring, bear and a few onsies from my friends. Not bad for a 2 gallon bag.
I am hoping that our Foster Mother will play the tape for Olivia and let her play with the photo book so that maybe Olivia will have some familiarity with us and the sound of our voices when we meet her.

I will have to find a book like that too. It is sooooo neat!! That is great that you were able to get so much in one bag.

I gave my niece, who lives in Portugal, one of those when she was about 10 months old, and she loved it! My sister in law said she took it where ever she went. Good choice.
