Update

We received word today from our adoption coordinator that our completed dossier is being sent to Guatemala today. The request for DNA testing was sent at the end of March. We are so excited that we have moved on to the next step. Once our paperwork gets to Guatemala it will be translated into Spanish and then it will enter family court. It will be in family court for at least 6 weeks, most likely more. We pray that we won't get kicked out for any reason. Usually they find something that doesn't meet their standards and they kick it out to be corrected. If they do kick it out hopefully it will be for something that our attorney will be able to fix quickly and resubmit with out a long delay. Otherwise it will be something we have to fix. All, I repeat all, of our documents had to go thru 3 steps before they were complete so we hope that we don't have to re-do them.
