Today is a National Day of Prayer for the children of Guatemala. I didn't get a chance to post this sooner so if you are reading right now please say a prayer for the children and their waiting families before you close your eyes and go to sleep tonight.
The families who are still waiting for their children to come home are faced with yet another hurdle and delay. The new leadership of PGN has decided to do a review of all cases that are currently physically present in PGN even if they are already approved under the previous leadership. They have suspended adoptions for one month in order to verify the validity of the case. In certain cases they will require the presence of the birth mother and child to verify identification.
I know from experience that one day of waiting for your child to be forever in your arms seems like an eternity so 30 days of waiting is just unbearable. Please pray that they will move quickly and that the families that are waiting to bring their children home will be able to do so very soon.
I know I have said this before but I have to say it again.......We are so blessed to have Olivia home with us. Everyday I pray that the orphans of Guatemala will be united very soon with their forever families. Please pray with me!!!!

Thank you Shannon for the great idea of filming the DVD while it plays!! This will have to do until I get the proper program. The quality is not very good doing it this way but it's better than nothing.

There isn't a day that goes by I don't pray for all those children and families. It just breaks my heart when I think about it.
I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Many Hugs
