Update

Well Olivia is finally feeling better as you can see. The flu has now moved on to Bill. He had a 104 temp yesterday and was hurting everywhere. He said he doesn't know how Olivia could stand it without complaining. She rarely cried when she had a high fever every day. I just hope the flu doesn't make it's way to me. I am sick of all of us being sick constantly. At least I know I am not alone, it seems like many of the blogs I read have posts about someone being sick.


Friday night we left Daddy to rest while Olivia and I went to my sister's to celebrate my nephew Michael's 25th birthday. He loves Olivia but she usually won't give him the time of day, however......................

...last night she had fun with Michael and she didn't scream when he picked her up....

she even laughed when he tickled her. She loves to tickle us but it can be quite painful when she does it...she tends to pinch when she tickles.

Olivia loved helping Michael open his gifts. She is really starting to be more comfortable around more people. But, I still love that she is a bit shy and won't go with just anyone. It is especially good when I go into a store because she lets me carry her and doesn't want to get down right away. The other day in the bank I put her down so I could write my deposit slip and she started crying and pulling on me to pick her up. Once I picked her up she was fine. I was grateful that she wanted to stay with me and wasn't running around the bank terrorizing the place, although I am sure there will come a day when she will not be so shy...........oh boy.
