Referral Anniversary!!

This Easter is extra special to us. Not only is Olivia here to celebrate Easter with us, but we are also celebrating the anniversary of Olivia's referral. One year ago today I was at work when an e-mail came through from my adoption coordinator.........................the subject line read.................Baby Girl!!!!! I froze.........I couldn't believe my eyes...................finally the moment we have been impatiently waiting for was here. I resisted the urge to open the e-mail because I knew that Bill and I needed to be together when we see our baby girl for the very first time. I called him and told him to meet me at home as quick as he could get there. We were so excited and so nervous about seeing what was in the e-mail. We opened those pictures as fast as our computer would let us and just stared at her................talk about a surreal moment..............is this really our daughter? The answer is absolutely........................and we couldn't be happier day in and day out when we see her sweet face and hear her sweet voice. She is worth every bit of the long hard process of adoption. We wouldn't change a thing and are looking forward to every day of the rest of our lives with Olivia.
