Pictures, update and answers!

Olivia loves to help me empty and load the dryer.

Cutie!!
"I love you Daddy. Happy Birthday!!"

"You two crack me up!"

Sorry I haven't been very good about posting lately. None of us can seem to get well around here. I am on my second round of antibiotics in two months. Bill needs antibiotics, and Olivia is just getting better in time to start daycare tomorrow and get sick all over again.

Yes I am starting back to work tomorrow and I am not happy one bit. I am not ready to leave my baby girl with strangers for 8 hours a day. I have only had 2 months to get to know her and care for her and it is just not enough. I know Olivia will be fine it is me that is not doing well with this at all. Two months is just not long enough especially when we have waited so long for her. It has been such a busy two months with the holidays and our trip to NY then Bill's birthday and Olivia's birthday, all while being sick over and over again, that I haven't had time to settle in and just enjoy Olivia. I am very grateful to have had this time but I hate that it is over. She has endured so many changes and adjustments in her 1 year of life that I feel guilty asking her to change and adjust once more. Please pray all goes well for both of us!!

I know that some of you were wondering where I got Olivia's birthday dress and who made the cake.....her dress came from Nordstrom's it is by Iris and Ivy. It was the last one on the rack and it happened to be her size. I think it was from the winter stock. I had a difficult time finding a dress that did not look like a Christmas or Easter dress and was not expensive. I got very lucky when I found this one.

I did not make her cake. My nephew's friend is starting a cake business and I sent her a picture of the cake I wanted and she did a great job copying it. It tasted great too. It was white cake with black raspberry filling.

Lastly, I have been tagged to share 7 weird facts about myself. I am supposed to tag 7 other people but it looks like everyone has been tagged already some more than once so if you happen to be reading this and you haven't been tagged consider yourself tagged by me.

I am having a hard time coming up with 7 things. My husband however wants to know why only 7.

1. I drink unsweet tea with nothing in it. This is apprently weird to the southerners.

2. I don't like my food dry. I am a condiment-aholic. I have to have some kind of sauce, dressing, gravy or hot sauce on my food depending on what I am eating.

3. I used to buy the restaurant size jar of Mount Olive sour pickles and could eat the entire jar in a couple of weeks.

4. I am addicted to the internet. Of course if you are reading this you probably are too so it's not that weird.

5. I am afraid of snakes. I would love to live in the country but my fear of snakes keeps me in the city.

6. My dogs sleep in bed with me and my husband. Yes it's crowded and I have to change the sheets more often but they are so snuggly and warm.

7. I own and love watching all Disney animated films. My husband and I collected them when they were VHS and then started over again when DVD's came out.

Okay that was hard and the first 3 are the only ones that I came up with. Thanks Bill for your help....I think.

I have to get to bed because I can no longer sleep in but I have one more thing to post and that is about Guatoberfest. Once again planning is underway for Guatoberfest. Please go to http://www.guatoberfest2008.blogspot.com/ for all the details. We are so excited that Olivia is here and we will be able to attend this year. We are looking forward to meeting all of you.

And yes the unsweetened tea is wierd. :) The first time I went out to eat with you I noticed that but Karen drinks hers like that also so maybe I am the wierd one!

Well, I don't like regular iced tea sweet or otherwise. I only like flavored stuff.

Can't wait until G-fest!! Though, I have to admit wishing SC was in the lead as it is a much, much easier drive than TN is for us.

Thank you Shannon for the great idea of filming the DVD while it plays!! This will have to do until I get the proper program. The quality is not very good doing it this way but it's better than nothing.
