LAST Agency Update!!

Well, this is a bitter sweet update for us. This is the last monthly update we will ever receive from our adoption agency. We are so blessed to have an agency who has staff in Guatemala who visited our daughter each month to take pictures and update us on her progress. While we are thrilled beyond words that the time has finally come to be with Olivia forever, we feel sadness for Olivia's foster family and how they will deal with not having Olivia in their lives. We also feel sadness for Olivia as she will "mourn" the loss of the only family she has ever known since she was born. The pictures we received showed Olivia with her foster brothers and you can tell that they love her soooo much and she loves them. Her personality has started to show and you can tell that they are having so much fun with her. We are looking forward to meeting all of them and thanking them for loving and taking such good care of our beautiful girl!

The next set of pictures and updated information on Olivia will be received in Guatemala when she is placed in our arms forever!!! I am finding it so hard to believe that in just a few short weeks we will be with Olivia and our family will be complete!!!

Olivia is doing so well!!! She is 9 1/2 months old and weighs 18.8 lbs and is 28.3 inches tall. She waves bye-bye, shakes her head "no", blows kisses, dances, and sings. She likes squash and jello and her favorite TV shows are Barney and Hi 5 (Discovery Kids). She is very silly!!

Olivia's DNA arrived at the lab in NJ this morning!! It should be done in 5 to 7 days, including the weekend!! By the middle of next week the results should arrive at the US Embassy in Guatemala. Then we wait for PINK!!!! Hopefully by the end of next week we will know when we will be traveling to Guatemala!!! We cannot wait!!!!!
