Introducing the Newest Network for Adoptive Families

On an older post I put the question out there to ask if anyone knew of a Guatemalan adoptive families group in the Raleigh area or if there was anyone out there interested in organizing a group. I received a response from Amber Sauer who offered to help organize a group. Amber is adopting two children from Guatemala and she too had been looking for a group.

Together Amber and I have formed the Guatemalan Forever Families Network of North Carolina. Please visit our blog at the following link Guatemalan Forever Families Network of North Carolina.

This group will be "Bringing Guatemalan Adoptive Families Together" from all over North Carolina. We will have events and excursions throughout the year that will take place all across the state. You will have the opportunity to get to know families from your area that may fast become your friends.

We have planned a Meet and Greet Fiesta for September 22nd. Visit our blog for details. You will find contact information on the blog so you can e-mail us your RSVP that you and your family will be attending. We encourage everyone to help spread the word about GFFN.
We can't wait to meet you all on September 22nd!!!

Thank you Shannon for the great idea of filming the DVD while it plays!! This will have to do until I get the proper program. The quality is not very good doing it this way but it's better than nothing.
