Bill and I just got back from 4 days in Dallas, Texas. I had a conference to attend and Bill accompanied me. We thought that since we were so close to our adoption agency in Fort Worth that we would make a quick trip to meet our coordinator. It was great visiting with her and looking around the visitor's center. It was very interesting to read the history of adoption and how Gladney came to be.
The conference was great and the food was awesome. Hopefully next summer we will have Olivia and we will be able to attend the family picnic for the Guatemala families that Gladney hosts at the center. We were able to see a few sights while in Texas but had very limited time because of the conference. We definitely would like to go back when we have more time and it can be just a relaxing vacation. Below are some pictures of the visitor center at Gladney.
