Yesterday, we received a copy of the DNA results showing that Olivia and her birth mother are a match. We also received a Polaroid picture of Olivia in the arms of her birth mother. It is a great picture and we are so lucky to have it. It was very emotional for both of us to see Olivia with her birth mother. You can tell from the picture that she loved being able to hold this little girl one more time. It was heartbreaking to think about her circumstances and the fact that she could not keep Olivia. We only hope that she is comforted by thoughts of how much we will love and cherish Olivia forever and ever.

We are so very grateful to her birth mom for being brave enough to give her baby a chance for a better life by placing her for adoption. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts!
